Adam Schefter: You Can See DeSean’s Eagles Return “Coming from a Mile Away”

You would have thought that Adam Schefter learned his lesson about what to say and not to say on Philadelphia radio from the last time. You’d be wrong.

So we don’t get all swept up in the hoopla again, let’s set this straight right off the bat: Adam Schefter isn’t saying DeSean is coming back to the Eagles. He’s not saying he’s hearing reports that a return will happen. He’s not even saying it’s probable or possible. He’s saying that right now, it seems like the perfect storm of circumstances for a situation like this to happen. In his own words on the Fanatic this morning (via NJ.com):

“It’s so logical. There are certain things that you can just see coming from a mile away. We’ll see whether or not it ever materializes. With Philadelphia, the biggest need is at wide receiver. With DeSean becoming a free agent AND with him having as much respect for Doug Pederson as he does, every element that you can think of is in place there.”

Brandon Graham went on TV this week and said that DJacc told him he’d be interested in returning to the Eagles. Schefter is now saying the conditions are perfect. So if you were worried that the Eagles might not have an off-season storyline to be driven into the ground, they got one now.

Daniel Snyder has filed a lawsuit against Jeff Lurie for tampering with Desean Jackson.
He has stated that: “no one has the right to touch Desean Jackson except me”.
Not sure what this means exactly, but it kind of fits in with the rest of the low life scum bags on this website.

thanks for the concern ladies–but the Cowboys didn’t get to 13-2 by making bad decision, rather they have been prudent and well-thought out. And yes putting Sanchez to beat the eagles makes sense because he is the back up. Romo is an insurance policy not a back up–only use when absolutely needed and not in meaningless mop up duty, as would be the normal purpose of a back up. got it now?

Yeah, let’s redirect the conversation to the stadium, when the real issue is the Cowboys are going to the playoffs, hoping to win their SIXTH (yes, SIXTH) Super Bowl. Can Eagles’ mentally-challenged fan-boys even count that high?

THE EAGLES SUCK! You know it, I know it, everybody knows it. The fact that you take the pussy way out and hate on the Cowboys just furthers the national reputation of Philly fans as being a bunch of know-nothing douchebags.

No doubt your response will include something about dicks, mothers, or basements. Typical comeback fodder for Eagles’ degenerates.

Hoping to win their sixth? Scrubs need to hope and pray to get on Pittsburgh’s level.

The Eagles need to bring back Desean, Lesean, bring in Rex Ryan and switch to Kelly Green. They need to go back to their best era of never winning anything either. Oh and go sign a 45 year old TO because he was good 12 years ago. Yeah that’ll take us back to our “winning ways”.

{Sigh with long pause} I like the kelly green. Reminds me of the NFL Championship in 1960.

45 year-old TO is better than any of those starting receivers on that puketastic squad.

You bring back a 30 year old DJack if you’re one player away. Build through the draft and stop this Free Agency nonsense every years.

24/7 do-the-deal offseason coverage of something that’s actually kind of important to the Eagles was a tragedy. This will be a farce.

Jackson was a great one-trick player but he is not an important part of the Eagles next playoff winning team, whenever the hell that is going to be. It’s nice of Jackson to reconcile with a fanbase that loved him while ignoring the treacherous jchews upstairs who ran a PR campaign suggesting he was a gangbanger, but who really cares?

Doug Pederson was the OC of a Chiefs team that had 0 TDs from a WR. How hasn’t anyone brought up the fact that maybe it’s not the Eagles WR fault. Maybe it’s the dumbass coach calling the plays. As soon as Pederson left the WR started doing alot better in KC. Maybe the WR, who are in just their 2nd years, aren’t that bad. Maybe again it’s the idiot running the team

You are definitely on to something. Can’t believe great football minds like Jaws, Baldy, and Ray D. didn’t think of this.

Number of TD’s for Chiefs WR last year with Doug Pederson as OC: 12

Number of TD’s for Chiefs WR this year: 10 (6 of them by a rookie who wasn’t on the team last year)

Sorry, it’s not the play caller. It’s the wide receivers. They suck. It’s not Doug’s fault that Agholor drops every key pass and the team is relying on a nice #3 WR in Matthews as a #1. You can blame Doug for a lot of different things, )74 the WRs here are still awful. Nice try though.

I didn’t say last season. 2014 season Doug was the OC of a team without a WR touchdown. He’s still responsible for thay awful statistic. He’s a horrible coach. The WR don’t have the opportunity to be good when Doug runs 5 yard plays. The D just sits back and gives them that all day long.
