If The Eagles Want to Win on Sunday, They'll Have to Stop Mark Sanchez
It’s as fitting a way to end any football season, with the Eagles facing off against the Cowboys in a week 17, New Year’s Day battle. If the division was on the line, it would have been set up to go down as an all-timer. It’s not, so we’re gonna see a lot of Mark Sanchez.
Along with #Cowboys Mark Sanchez receiving most of the reps, expect same with Darren McFadden. An inexperienced LT adds to resting starters

Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will still start the game, but a majority of the touches from the QB and RB position will go to Sanchez and Darren McFadden. It won’t quite be the star-studded slobber-knocker we hoped for, and it sets the Eagles up for a lose-lose. Previously, if the Eagles lost to the ROTY and NFC East champs at home in the season finale, it’s expected. If the birds win, it’s amazing. Now, a win is almost a foregone conclusion, and a loss only shatters you more. Thanks, Jerry.
Post Script: According to my research, a Cowboys win would make Mark Sanchez the only former Eagles QB to beat the team while playing for the Cowboys. Rodney Peete beat the Eagles as a Cowboy, but he had yet to make the move to Philadelphia. He returned the favor in kelly green.
