Pro Football Talk points out that there are eight teams – Eagles, Ravens, Browns, Titans, Colts, Bears, Buccaneers and Saints – who meet the qualifications to be on Hard Knocks next year:

A team can be forced to appear on Hard Knocks if it meets the following three conditions:

1. It hasn’t appeared on Hard Knocks in the last 10 years.

2. It hasn’t made the playoffs in the last two years.

3. It doesn’t have a new head coach.

We wrote this almost exact post on December 28 last year with the phrasing “since the Eagles… aren’t going to fire their head coach.” Later that day, Chip Kelly was fired, allowing the Eagles to sidestep prying production people.

On The Rob Maaddi Show with Anthony SanFilippo last night, Lane Johnson mentioned the possibility: “That’s the rumor… it’d be funny, there’s a lot of funny stuff that goes on behind close doors. Hey, if they pick us, they pick us.”

Send lawyers, guns and peds… the shit has hit the fan.
