Your Monday Morning Roundup
What a bad slate of NFL games. There just weren’t enough good teams this season to make a 12-team playoffs interesting. Now the real season begins. The Chiefs are going to win the Super Bowl.
Let’s hit it.
But first, a word from our sponsors:

Amazon. I bought my one-year-old a Dot because he already knows who Alexa is.
The roundup:
Here’s Lane Johnson’s complaint against the NFL.
Doug Pederson shopping for appliances.
Dario Saric and T.J. McConnell hate each other.
Joel Embiid killed Mia Khalifa.
The Sixers are partnering with Dunkin Donuts, which is corporate mumbo jumbo but it does bring you this:
On days when the Sixers play at home, beginning Jan. 11, coffee will cost 76 cents at the roughly 600 Dunkin Donuts locations in the 18 counties in the Greater Philadelphia region. The catch is the price applies to a medium hot of ice coffee ordered using the store’s new “on-the-go ordering” platform via the Dunkin Mobile app, and paid for using a DD Perks-enrolled card. “We think this will be the biggest and best way we will engage Sixers fans in the region,” said Weissman, who noted the average price area franchises charge is $1.75 for a medium hot coffee and $2.35 for a medium ice coffee.
Sooooooooo let me get this straight– you’ll save $1 on a cup of coffee 20 or so times per year if you download the Dunkin Donuts app and pay using a prepaid card? That sounds like… a lot of work.
Joel Embiid thinks the Sixers can make the playoffs which is 1) adorable, 2) unlikely, and 3) unnecessary.
Richaun Holmes is the unquestionable star of this:

Okafor looks plenty relaxed…
This pretty much sums up a lot of yesterday’s football action:

I don’t hate the current Cowboys, but the Seahawks look like they’re rounding into shape at just the right time.
An oral history of ESPN’s excellent O.J. documentary.
Bryce Harper, so close:

Meme Okurs?
A supposed “scary snowman” prank did not phase Bryce Treggs:
We’re all gonna be really embarrassed when we learn Grayson Allen can’t control his legs at all, like it’s some kindof Idle Hands situation. And for the record, Grayson, this is how you nut shot.
Paul Richardson’s catch is made more incredible by his blatant facemask.
This is much more impressive if the offensive line was actually attempting to block anyone, but still.

Kenyon Martin and Tim Thomas are old, will fight.

Connor Barwin is willing to re-work his contract. Barwin is a great team guy and he obviously loves it here, but there’s a reason he might need to re-work his deal to stick around.
The trials and tribulations of Carson Wentz are made for Hard Knocks, especially after he told reporters he’s going to be “shutting it down” for most of the offseason after a season with 607 pass attempts. There’s also just something about the Eagles organization (and their fans) that feels like an interesting follow.
