Report: Ersan Ilyasova Has Been Traded to the Hawks
Did you hear that muffled noise in the distance? That’s a minor WOJBOMB going off:
Sixers are finalizing a trade to Ersan Ilyasova to Atlanta for Tiago Splitter and two second-round picks, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Both Ilyasova and Splitter are on expiring contracts, though scattered reports seemed to indicate the Sixers were interested in re-signing Illy in the off-season (they still can, if they want to). The move nets the Sixers a couple of picks while also clearing up the starting power forward spot for Dario Saric – or a debuting Ben Simmons. Atlanta will be Ilyasova’s fifth team since the beginning of the 2015-2016 season. By the transitive property, Jerami Grant (and Spencer Hawes before him) became a protected first round pick and two second rounders.
We’ll update with information on the picks as it becomes available.
UPDATE: Here’s the deal:
Source: Atlanta's sending a 2017 second-round pick (via Miami) in the Sixers trade. Hawks/Sixers swapping other 2017 second-rounders.

This is a really confusing technicality. Basically, the #sixers will swap GS's 2017 2nd round pick for Atlanta's 2017 2nd round pick. https://t.co/9ooKiIjO2K
