No, that’s not a plea to Rihanna.

Evil Genius Brewing isn’t gonna let Conshohocken Brewing Company and their (delicious) Ghost Bear Golden Ale have all the fun in this town. After all, the Flyers aren’t the only team that drives their fans to drink – that would be every team – and Sixers fans may need a cold one more than anyone. Enter Trust the Process IPA.

As reported by Matt Mullin at PhillyVoice, the TTP IPA is a very fitting 7.6% ABV and will soon be available at the Evil Genius Brewery at 1731-1733 N Front Street when it opens its doors in three days. Trevor Hayward, one of Evil Genius’ two Villanova MBA founders (I just got Kyle’s attention) told Mullin that the beer applies to their quest to build their brewery as well. “Maybe we can remind Sixers fans that sometimes patience pays off,” he said. Hayward is right, we need patience beer more than ever right now.

Kyle: When I tweeted a picture of Ghost Bear I got some negative comments that it… wasn’t good. I went in with low expectations. I couldn’t disagree more with the assessment. I thought it was a really good Golden Ale. I’m not sure what people expect from one, but it was just a good, solid session beer.
