Yesterday, it was reported that Peters wanted an assurance that, should he choose to continue playing after next season, he’d be able to retire as an Eagle. Ian Rappppppppppppppopopopoports the deal puts his next three years at a $32.5 million max with over $15 million guaranteed. Peters will get around $2 million more guaranteed than he had before, but the Eagles should save on cap space.

Peters is 35 and in decline, but he’s still valuable enough for the Eagles to keep happy. Everybody wins.
