IT’S RUMOR SEASON, BABY! Which, as far as I can tell, is the only season the Phillies are participating in.

No longer young, Dee Gordon is now inexplicably 29 but still fast as hell. He is in the second year of a five-year, $50 million contract. Corey Seidman of CSN notes that the Phils’ interest in Gordon makes no sense, as they already have two young second basemen in Cesar Hernandez and Scott Kingery, and that this may be a Marlins negotiating tactic to draw out other offers… and blog posts.
