Last in the NFC East.

I actually don’t disagree with any of this:

It’s very possible that the Eagles can be one of the six new playoff teams the league averages every year. Last year, the Giants, Cowboys, Falcons, Lions, Raiders and Dolphins were newbies. Philadelphia should be able to hold its own against those squads. We saw it against Miami in the preseason. What we haven’t seen enough of is a new-look first-string offense, which my colleague Brian Baldinger so aptly pointed out.

The Redskins are 17, the Cowboys are 8, and the Giants are 7.

The Giants should be much better. If father time hasn’t completely caught up with Eli, their passing game could be downright dominant. The Cowboys are poised to fall back down to Earth and will have to throw the ball more this year, testing Dak Prescott (I think he’s the real deal). But the Redskins? Look no further than the Week 1 line, which started at -2.5 in the Redskins’ favor and has moved to -1 for the Eagles.

I’m not sure what to make of the Eagles, but Vegas has them as a road favorite against the Redskins. If I were a Redskins fan, I wouldn’t feel too good about that.
