The Flyers have replaced Alex Kraemer, their in-arena host who took a job as the Bruins rinkside reporter this year, with Andrea Helfrich.

Press release:

In advance of the Philadelphia Flyers 2017-18 home opener this Saturday, October 14, the team announced today that it has hired Andrea Helfrich to serve as In-Arena and Flyers TV Host.

Helfrich will join long-time Host Shawny Hill at all Flyers home games, handling in-game entertainment and promotions, as well as interacting with fans at the Wells Fargo Center and in the community. In addition, she will serve as on-air talent for video content on PhiladelphiaFlyers.com and the Flyers’ social media channels.

Helfrich, a Richboro, Pa. native and a former Miss Philadelphia, comes to the Flyers from ULTRA and ULTRA Worldwide, one of the world’s largest electronic music festivals. Conducting interviews with world-renowned DJ’s across 22 countries, Helfrich hosts segments providing behind-the-scenes views of the festivals, as well as serves as host of ULTRA’s travel series.

I judge people solely based on how long they’ve been following me on Twitter. Helfrich follows 150 people, and I was the 17th person she followed, just after Todd Herremans but several spots before Perez Hilton, NBC Sports Philly and wayyyy before David Guetta. I like her already.

You can follow Andrea on Twitter (@Andrea_Helfrich) and on IG (@andreahelfrichofficial) to see her in more, um, summer attire. Some of those highlights are after the jump:
