After last week’s bye, the Eagles return to action on Sunday Night Football as they take on the Dallas Cowboys down in Jerry World.

On the injury front, Alshon Jeffery (ankle) is questionable to play, but Doug Pederson expects him to play. Adam Schefter confirmed the news earlier today as well. Ronald Darby and Zach Ertz will play. That’s all for the active Eagles.

For the Cowboys, it’s a little more extensive. First off, Ezekiel Elliott is in the second game of a six-game suspension. He’s somewhere training. As for non-suspended players, linebacker Sean Lee and kicker Dan Bailey are also out. Left tackle Tyron Smith, safety Jeff Heath, defensive tackle Maliek Collins, and backup tight end Geoff Swaim are all listed as questionable. Smith won’t play tonight, according to Ian Rapoport, which means Byron Bell will get the start. Heath’s status is up in the air, but he didn’t practice on Friday.

We’ll continually update this post as the game goes along. And check out our predictions to see how good (or probably bad) we guessed this game.

10:42 – Kamu looked good at halftime too:

10:35 – Touchdown Eagles! Wentz finds Torrey Smith for the 10-yard score. He follows that up with a two-point conversion to Alshon Jeffery. It’s 23-9 Eagles.

9:22 – Elliott update:

9:17 – Wentz is out of the tent and reviewing plays. He should be fine. Let’s hope.

9:15 – Jake Elliott missed a 34-yard field goal attempt. Meanwhile, Wentz is in the medical tent. It’s also the end of the first quarter.

9:06 – A Wentz pass to Alshon Jeffery for 22 yards isn’t enough for the Eagles to make anything out of their latest drive. Donnie Jones’ punt goes into the endzone for a touchback.

Eagles lead 7-3.

8:40 – Jay Ajayi looks fine.

8:32 – Game underway. Ryan Switzer takes the kickoff 61 yards down the field. Taken down by Jake Elliott.

8:27 – More non-Eagles news, but it does involve a former Eagles coach. He’s going back to college:

8:26 – Eagles win the coin toss and defer to the second half.

8:25 – Ronald Darby will start on the right side, while Jalen Mills stays on the left side:

8:09 – Let’s go:

7:46 – Somewhat related to the Eagles, the Flyers will play a game at the Linc next year against the Penguins:

7:08 – As of now,  the roof is open.

7:00 – Inactives are out. Wendell Smallwood is the odd back out, as some expected when the Eagles traded for Jay Ajayi before the Denver game. Newly signed veterans Will Beatty and Dannell Ellerbe are also out.

https://twitter.com/Eagles/status/932398771442536449

As for the Cowboys, Bailey, Heath, Lee, and Smith are out as expected. Darren McFadden is a healthy scratch. He only got one carry for a two-yard loss last week against Atlanta:

6:47 – This shirt is god damn incredible:
