SugarHouse Sportsbook launched inside the Play SugarHouse app, which is available on both iOS and Android . That came on the heels of MGM, which partnered with the NBA, launching its app earlier in the week. They join DraftKings Sportsbook as the three online sports betting apps available in New Jersey. Several others are expected before the start of football season, including FanDuel Sportsbook, BetStars, and 888sport.
MGM’s app is not yet recommended due to the lack of publicly available bonus and availability only on Android. But SugarHouse Sportsbook looks rather compelling from the jump.
I asked Bob, who lives in New Jersey and had a chance to check out their live betting options during the Phillies game today, for his initial thoughts:
Prop and in game options are actually pretty expansive. Was much easier to get money into my account than it was on DK. Uh, the interface and functionality isn’t as clean or easy to use.
Also quite a few deposit options.
Since SugarHouse has had a live casino in New Jersey for several years now, they have their deposit bugs ironed out.
We’ve been working with them to offer bonus codes, and there’s is a good one and the best yet: sign up and they’ll match your first deposit up to $250 with code CROSSINGBROAD.
Full disclosure: We are an affiliate of legal New Jersey sports betting sites, so we may receive a commission if you use our links.
Now, don’t expect to be able to just withdraw that money, but you will get 100% match to gamble with on your first deposit.
Here are all the links and such– SugarHouse is a sleeper, and their launch unexpected (as they don’t actually have a casino in New Jersey), but it looks like a pretty compelling offering:
