Boring Doug Pederson press conference today.

Doug himself wasn’t boring, there just isn’t that much to talk about on a Thursday afternoon ahead of Monday night’s game against the Redskins.

Here’s the update on the injury situation:

“I’ll tell you this; Jalen Mills, (Avonte) Maddox, Jordan Hicks – those three are probably the furthest away, even though Mills and Maddox are a little bit closer. I would say Jordan’s a little bit further. The other guys will actually do some stuff today in practice, Sproles included, and we’ll just see. We’ll just see. They’re day to day. We don’t want to rush them back obviously or set anybody back, so we’ll mix them in and see where they’re at at the end of the day. “

We’ll see what we get on the injury report later today.

More notes:

  • Darren Sproles “wants to be on the field so bad”
  • Mack Hollins and Mike Wallace (injured reserve) are “both doing well; they aren’t there yet.”
  • Josh Adams is the starting running back. “There’s no hiding that.”
  • Adams is making strides in pass protection and catching the football as well. “He’s getting incrementally better.”
  • Brandon Graham’s sack numbers are down but Pederson feels like he’s settling in and being more disruptive, came into the season trying to get back to 100% health

That’s pretty much it. Kind of like a Mike Groh presser in terms of plainness.
