Still no word of any moves from the Phillies as we remain next to a stove that’s not yet warmed, but the team did announce today that it will honor Jimmy Rollins, Chase Utley, and Ryan Howard in three separate pregame retirement ceremonies at Citizens Bank Park next season:

Rollins is up first (pun intended) on Saturday, May 4 before the Phillies host the Nationals at 7:05 p.m. Utley follows on Friday, June 21 with the Marlins in town for a 7:05 p.m. start, and Howard will be honored prior to the team’s Sunday, July 14 game with the Nationals at 1:05 p.m.

If you happen to be feeling nostalgic and would like to attend all three games, the team has created what they’re calling a six-game “Phillies Legends Ticket Pack” which covers all three games and allows fans to select three others ahead of February’s general ticket sale.

Good marketing. I suppose it’s probably safe to say the house will be packed for each of those three games, but as for the other 78 home dates, well, we remain waiting by the stove.
