Carter Hart’s Eagles-Inspired Mask Warms My Icy Heart

We’re just over 24 hours away (hopefully) from the Battle of Pennsylvania at the Linc. Like any hockey fan, I wondered how Carter Hart would pay homage to the Eagles. Would he keep it current? Would there be a Donovan McNabb sighting? Reggie White? James Thrash? Even more importantly: would he dive into the #QBControversy that ripped the Eagles’ fanbase in half? Look and be amazed:

Oh, Carter, you lovely Canadian you. Like a perfect politician, Hart put out his bipartisan platform. Detailed shots after the jump:

Fletcher Cox certainly appeared to be a fan. The real question: Is he showing the Nick Foles side in support of the Super Bowl LII winning QB?! Could the Eagles trade Cars… Sorry. I’m done. I swear.

The nicest touch on the mask? Definitely the hidden Eagles logos inside of the Flyers logos on either side. Plus, “We All We Got. We All We Need.”? I’m ready to run through a wall. The game can’t get here fast enough.

  1. Fitting he included Wentz and now he too gets to watch from the sidelines.

  2. This is why Gordon is a minor league coach.
Starting Elliott in Montreal would have been the right decision and Hart goes tonight.
This is the dumbest move by a coach since Francona sat Scott Rolen on Rolen t shirt day.
