Woj bombs are being launched left and right. I can’t keep up.

The Raptors, not to be outdone by the Bucks and Sixers, are reportedly trading for Marc Gasol:

Yeah?

I like Gasol, but he’s 34 years old right now and I don’t know if this move helps keep Kawhi Leonard around next season. Maybe they already had the feeling Kawhi was gonna walk in free agency.

Either way, the Raptors starting lineup now looks something like this:

  1. Kyle Lowry
  2. Danny Green
  3. Kawhi Leonard
  4. Pascal Siakam/Serge Ibaka
  5. Marc Gasol/Serge Ibaka

I dunno, both Ibaka and Siakam are playing well, but one is gonna come out of the starting five to accommodate Gasol, who averaged 33.7 minutes per game in Memphis. He’s scoring 15.7 points and grabbing 8.6 boards, though he’s only shooting 44.4%, this season against a career 48% average.

What we do know is that the Eastern Conference semifinals are gonna be a bloodbath. They’re gonna be craaaaaazy, as Jim Sipala would say.

The only team yet to make a big deadline move is the Boston Celtics.

Danny Ainge, you’re up.
