Happy Trade Deadline (Woj Bomb) Day!

The big deal for the Sixers was officially completed Wednesday, welcoming Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, and Mike Scott. Landry Shamet was the key piece going back to the Clippers, and his last possession as a Sixer included a really bad foul call.

The team also acquired Malachi Richardson, a second round pick, and the rights to Emir Preldzic, who was drafted by Phoenix in 2009 from the Raptors, for cash considerations. Could be a low bench option, but it is a low-risk trade.

The deadline is at 3 PM. Could more moves be on the way, specifically with Markelle Fultz? I’m gonna say no for now, but we never know. There’s also the buyout market, with Wayne Ellington being the latest name added to that list.

Odds to win the East and the NBA Finals have gone up for the Sixers thanks to the Harris trade, which isn’t a surprise. But it isn’t a ton. We’ll see if the new guys play on Friday against the Nuggets on ESPN.
