We now know who the Eagles will play this preseason:

While we don’t yet have the dates and times, it’s nice to know who the Birds’ first victims of their redemption tour will be.

The first game features former object of affection Marcus Mariota, who just might be fighting for his job against former Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill. Week 2 is a skippable affair and… wait a second. Isn’t that where Nick Foles signed? Sure is. Should be nice to see Carson Wentz and Nick Foles settle the QB controversy once and for all: HEAD-TO-HEAD. Week 3 features Baltimore, with whom the Eagles will be conducting joint practices this coming training camp. The final game of the preseason schedule pits the Birds against their annual opponent in the New York Jets. We’ll see if Nate Sudfeld can separate himself from the competition and lock down that backup quarterback slot on the depth chart.

Eagles go 4-0, right? If Carson Wentz doesn’t lead them to an undefeated preseason, should Nate Sudfeld start Week 1? Was letting Nick Foles a mistake? Phone lines are open for the first time today…
