Looks Like Jimmy Butler is Headed to Miami, Josh Richardson to Sixers (and Al Horford)
The sign and trade, it’s happening:

Josh Richardson as a JJ Redick replacement is a good return. Bam Adebayo? Wonder if they’d throw him in there, but I doubt it.
Depending on the money you have remaining, Al Horford might be a possibility yet. Patrick Beverly is still out there, too.
Standing by.
UPDATE:
Five-time All-Star F/C Al Horford has agreed to a four-year, $109M deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, agent Jason Glushon tells ESPN.

Your Sixers starting lineup in 2019 looks like this:
- Ben Simmons (6’10”)
- Josh Richardson (6’6′”)
- Tobias Harris (6’9″)
- Al Horford (6’10”)
- Joel Embiid (7’2″)
That’s monstrous. That lineup can finish top-five defensively and top-five in rebounding.
Scoring? Well, Richardson is a career 37% three point shooter, Harris 36%, Horford 37%. There will DEFINITELY be some rough offensive patches, and Embiid and Simmons, one of those two has to improve their shooting to get the Sixers past the same drop/dig/double situation that hurt the team last year, but this lineup has a lot of potential.
Bench looks like:
- Mike Scott
- Matisse Thybulle
- Zhaire Smith
- Jonah Bolden
- Shake Milton
- maybe Marial Shayok
- some vet minimums
- James Ennis? He’s still out there.
Sixer needs, in my opinion:
- backup ball handler (can’t be McConnell if he’s not usable in the playoffs)
- another shooter off the bench
- another big for nights where Embiid is off and Horford slides down to the five
More to come!
