Eagles Training Camp: The Injury Situation Looks Very Good
The Eagles’ 2019 season is officially underway.
Training camp kicked off about 15 minutes ago, and you’ll be happy to know that the Birds seem relatively healthy to begin, with 88 of 89 players taking part in the session.
Let’s start off the good news with this:

Brooks tore his Achilles tendon in the Saints playoff game back in January. The fact that he’s back on the field in a little more than six months’ time is something else. We’ll see how much he ends up doing today, but just to see him out there is great news overall.
Seems Fletcher Cox is also out there, after the jump:
Fletcher Cox is also here with his helmet. #eagles might be healthier than we thought.

Cox is coming back from offseason foot surgery, that injury also suffered in the playoff game.
Also worth noting is that Jalen Mills is the only player beginning camp on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, which was confirmed by the Eagles. Ronald Darby is good to go. Miles Sanders, who missed minicamp with a hamstring injury is also taking part today.
More:
Following #Eagles who were injured for all or part of spring workouts are suited up to participate in practice: Brandon Brooks, Fletcher Cox, Miles Sanders, Ronald Darby, Rodney McLeod, Derek Barnett, Nigel Bradham, Corey Clement, Josh Adams, Mack Hollins, Paul Worrilow.

Good stuff.
The Eagles and NBC Sports Philadelphia are both streaming today’s session. Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz are speaking a bit later, then the locker room opens up to reporters.
