With the Phillies off, there’s not a lot to discuss. The Eagles report to training camp tomorrow, so that’s still just more hype.

Maybe the biggest piece of news, if you want to call it that, is that Ben Simmons has a jump shot. We think.

I say ‘we think’ because I want to see it put into game action once the Sixers return in September/October. So far, it looks like a good jumper and a better one than Markelle Fultz. So I’ll take that and run with it.

Let’s hope he continues to work on it and refines it throughout the summer. Then he finally shoots a three and it goes in. And then he wins multiple MVPs and helps the Sixers win multiple NBA Finals. It might be a little too much, but always chase your dreams.

In other Sixers news, Tobias Harris is pulling out of USA Basketball Training Camp to focus on winning said multiple NBA Finals with the team. Good for him.
