Ben Simmons will return to Philadelphia soon, not only with a jump shot, but with a new partnership in his portfolio.

Ben was announced today, officially, as the new ambassador for Aussie company Four’N Twenty, which makes the meat pies you can now buy at the Wells Fargo Center during Sixers games. I’ve had the pies and they are tasty and recommended.

Here’s a snippet from the press release announcing the new arrangement:

The Australian-born player will represent and share his lifelong passion for the iconic Australian beef pie brand in Australia and the U.S. The partnership includes an image of Ben and his name featured on product packs and in consumer promotions, an engaging media campaign and his enthusiastic support of the launch of new products in Australia and the U.S.

“I’ve grown up eating Four’ Twenty beef pies and I still love them. I am thrilled to be a global brand ambassador for this iconic Australian brand. There is nothing better than a Four’N Twenty pie.” Simmons said.

The Australian-based company produces beef pies, the best-selling sports concession item in Australia and the country’s national dish.

Four’N Twenty and the Philadelphia 76ers first joined forces in November 2017 with an international partnership agreement, which saw Australia’s favourite beef pies sold at the team’s home arena and launched the Australian Heritage Night hosted by Four’N Twenty. Today, 76ers fans continue to enjoy beef pies during their team’s games.

In his new role, Simmons joins Australian Football League legend Jonathan ‘Browny’ Brown, who has been a loved brand ambassador and member of the Four’N Twenty family since 2017. Jordan Mailata, Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Tackle, also joins the enviable Four’N Twenty brand ambassador list, strengthening the brand’s connection to Philadelphia.

Beef. It’s what’s for dinner.
