Find yourself a woman who will come to your aid on Twitter. A woman who will defend you against other women, like 97.5 the Fanatic’s Sam Wilson, who appears on the Farzetta and Tra morning show while also doing promotions and production work.

Interesting exchange here between Wilson and Giselle Rodriguez regarding the “entitled” comments made by veteran utility guy Sean last night after he walked it off in the 11th inning for a 6-5 win.

I clipped some of the Twitter back and forth, which begins with Wilson referring to Rodriguez as a “pathetic dude,” which is honestly not even close to the worst thing that was said about him after last night’s post game media session:

That was actually… rather benign. Both of them are making reasonable points; Wilson noting that other players have taken the high road on the booing situation while Giselle is pointing out that her husband is speaking his mind and being honest and still getting ripped for it. It’s the old “one way street” idea, i.e. Philly fans want players to just tell it how it is, but then when they call out the fans, all of a sudden we get all butt hurt instead. Can’t have it both ways, right?

Then a third person chimed in on the action:

That continued on for a little bit if you’d like to check out the rest.

Sean Rodriguez is in the lineup tonight (3rd base), so we’ll see if anybody asks him about the reaction to his comments, or whether the whole thing just dies a quick 24-hours news cycle death.

Edit:

Here are Gabe’s comments –
