If you’re bummed out about the Eagles’ loss, maybe beer is in order.

Evil Genius Beer Company is offering up a brand new version of their Birds-inspired “Fly Like an Eagle” brew, which is available only on tap at their Front Street location. It’s a 5.5% “Hazy Tailgate IPA,” so basically a session that goes down a lot easier than your typical India Pale Ale:

It has a New England type of consistency. A little cloudy, good flavor, not too hoppy, which is nice for non-IPA drinkers like myself. “Fly Like an Eagle” is going to be on tap at the lab throughout the season, but I’m told that a future can release or distribution is not out of the question.

Also, if you’re more of a Sixers person, Evil Genius is also offering up their “Phantom of the Process,” which is a 6.7% New England IPA with Amarillo and Mosaic hops, “conditioned on more than 150 pounds of pineapple.”

Check out this guy:

EG has previously released Sixers-themed beers. One of those, “Trust the Process,” will return to the lab before the October home opener. That’s a 6.7% American IPA.

Anyway, it’s all good stuff. Evil Genius rarely misses with a beer.

(FYI, I was not paid to promote this, I just stopped by the brewery this weekend)
