Report: Alshon Jeffery's Status for Next Two Games "In Some Doubt"
Bring out your dead!
Felt like the Eagles were piling bodies on the cart Sunday night, ala Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
We didn’t get much of an update on Alshon Jeffery from Doug Pederson at his Monday press conference, but Ian Rapoport offered this up:
#Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery is dealing with a calf strain, source said, following Sunday night football. It’s not major, but with two games in 10 days, the timing is bad. His status for those is in some doubt.

The Birds are back at home on Sunday against the Lions, then it’s a short turnaround for the Thursday night game in Green Bay. That’s not exactly ideal. We’ll get more of an update on Jeffery, DeSean Jackson (groin), Dallas Goedert (calf), and Tim Jernigan (broken foot) when the first injury report comes out tomorrow, Wednesday. There will be a corresponding roster move or two to complete as well.
Fun times!
