My wife’s a big Bravo fan and therefore watches The Real Housewives of (insert city) regularly.

As such, I can name pretty much every housewife off the top of my head, and I certainly recognized Dorinda Medley of New York City when she appeared on a graphic for… a Philadelphia Flyers special ticket package?

Yeah, no joke. The Comcast-Spectacor folks put together a “Doorobics” 80’s themed workout with the RHONY star:

Here’s the blurb on the group theme nights page:

Doorobics with Dorinda Medley

JAN. 29

Grab your leg warmers and get ready for “Doorobics”, 80s themed aerobics with Real Housewives of New York City’s, Dorinda Medley! Now is your chance to dust off your favorite 80s neon, and put it to use. Enjoy a fun filled 80s themed hour aerobics class with Real Housewives of New York City’s, Dorinda Medley! With a professional instructor beside her, Dorinda brings us back to a time of leg warmers, spandex and boomboxes.

Following class, meet Dorinda and learn her secrets on how she’s “made it nice,” and you can too!

*This special ticket package comes with a ticket to the Philadelphia Flyers game on Monday, February 10th at 7pm vs. the Florida Panthers OR Tuesday, February 18th vs. Columbus Blue Jackets.

Hmmm.. okay. So the “Doorobics” night is not the same night as the game you’d be attending. The tickets you get are for your choice of two games in February.

Seems like an odd fit, but who knows? Maybe there’s a cross-section of Housewives fans out there who would then go watch the Flyers the following month. Some of the other group ticket packages being offered for January include “Swimmer’s Night” and “Villanova University Night.” The tickets for the Dorinda event start at $70.
