There have been many Jadeveon Clowney takes out there. Some have been good. Some have been bad.

I think this one from Josh McCown is quite reasonable and contains some appreciated nuance:

“When his helmet is that low to the ground, it’s hard because it feels like he leads with his helmet, and I think, more than anything, not his intent as being dirty, but just that we continue to clean the game up. And the emphasis that they’ve told us is that we’re trying to take those hits out of the game.”

It’s a good point, on Clowney’s height and how low he is to the ground when contact is made.

Doesn’t look like much in real time, but the second one gives you a little more of an idea of the angle and height at which Clowney was coming in. You can see Big V put his hand up in the air and look at the nearby ref as if to question the action.
