More changes coming to a hockey, basketball, and lacrosse arena near you.

This summer, Comcast-Spectacor will revamp the Wells Fargo Center’s club level to “offer upscale amenities and extraordinary experiences that will set a new standard in sports and entertainment,” according to a press release.

This will be an open concept alteration, the latest part of the multi-year, $300 million upgrade project, which has also resulted in new seats, a new jumbotron, new food, and pretty much new everything else.

This part of the revamp will accommodate about 1,500 fans in three different seating areas, and you can read the press release and check out a video flythrough after the jump:

New, Open-Concept Layout and VIP Entrance

The all-new Club Level’s extensive redesign will transform the current multi-box structure of the Club Level and expand more than 13,000 square feet to create a premium, open-concept layout. The dynamic and fashionable space will feature a bevy of high-end amenities, several upscale dining options, and three unique seating options with oversized leather seats.

The premium seating experience will begin with a completely reimagined VIP entrance on the West side of the arena facing Broad Street. Upon entry, guests will be greeted with a new VIP lounge, including a high-end bar with communal seating and fireplaces providing an opportunity to mingle, relax, and/or wait for guests to arrive. Three new escalators and two elevators will flank the premium entrance, creating more accessible pathways to the action. Additionally, the dedicated premium parking lot will be relocated directly adjacent to the entrance and will feature direct access to and from to Broad Street, easing entry and departure pathways to and from the arena on event nights.

Curated Food and Drink

As Philadelphia’s outstanding culinary community continues to gain national and global recognition, Comcast Spectacor is placing great value and intention into a curated approach to the arena’s food and beverage offerings as the central feature of the new Club level. “We have a unique opportunity to showcase the diversity of Philadelphia’s culinary greatness in one special place while providing an exclusive experience for our Club Level guests” said President of Business Operations, Valerie Camillo.  The brand new Club Level will feature a local Celebrity Chef Program to celebrate Philadelphia’s passion for excellent cuisine and the special relationship that exists between sports, entertainment, and great food. Specialty menus from these chefs will be featured at four cornerstone food stands on the level. State-of-the-art touchscreen ordering kiosks will also be available for guests, with options for orders to be delivered directly to their seats.

“Philadelphia has put itself on the map as a marquee destination for craft food and cocktails,” said Camillo. “Instituting a refined, local culinary program to the Club Level is an exciting way for fans to enjoy the best of both the booming food culture in the city and the appeals of Wells Fargo Center sports and entertainment.”

The new Club Level will also feature several exclusive upscale bars including a vaulted wine cellar, whiskey/bourbon bar, and taproom.

Beyond the reimagined food and beverage program, members will also enjoy premium exclusives only available on the new Club Level. Secure coat checks will be stationed at both ends of the floor in addition to a merchandise boutique set to offer high-end, luxury-brand apparel only available on the Club level.

New Seating Options

Two new seating offerings will place additional finishing touches on the Club Level’s grand transformation. Located front and center on both sides of the arena, The Club Premier section of the level will take Club Seat Holders closer to the action than ever before with four rows that extend from the original seating layout towards the arena floor. Seats included in these sections will enjoy enhanced in-seat service, providing members an expansive menu from Celebrity Chef locations, fan favorite bites, and meal selections from stands around the arena including Shake Shack, Lorenzo’s Pizza, and Federal Donuts.

The second new seating option is a first-of-its-kind in the Philadelphia market: the Club Loge introduces a semi-private seating space with four Captain’s Chair Ultra Comfort seats crafted with Spanish leather. Each Loge is located 23 rows from the arena floor and features a private drink rail, dedicated televisions that double as on-demand in-seat service touchscreen LED displays, and branding opportunities for owners.

Every Club ticket holder gains exclusive access to benefits unique to the level. In addition to priority access to Wells Fargo Center concerts and Playoff tickets, every in-game ticket will come pre-loaded with up to $30 per game to be used for arena favorites, including merchandise. Other benefits include special experiences like golf outings, an optional on-site wine or liquor locker, and guaranteed playoff access.
