Marty Mornhinweg Returning to Eagles
Tim McManus at ESPN:
The Philadelphia Eagles are bringing former offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg back into the fold, according to league sources, as he’ll serve as offensive consultant to coach Doug Pederson.

Jeff McLane confirmed the report.
Marty served on Andy Reid’s staff from 2003 to 2012, working as offensive coordinator and assistant head coach. After Andy was fired, Mornhinweg became Rex Ryan’s OC in New York, then moved to Baltimore to link up with former Reid assistant John Harbaugh as a QB coach and offensive coordinator.
This will serve as another voice, another set of eyes for Doug Pederson, who is going without a traditional OC this year. Now you’ve got Mornhinweg and Rich Scangarello offering a more macro-level contribution to the offensive game planning while Press Taylor, Duce Staley, and Jeff Stoutland coordinate the passing and running games. It’s gonna be a committee approach at NovaCare this year with Doug calling the plays.
I’ll leave you with this:
