The restaurant and bar scene has been hit especially hard during the COVID-19 crisis, but most local establishments are trying to offer at least a limited menu of items that can be ordered online or picked up in a safe way on location.
In an effort to help out, we thought we’d put together a master list of small businesses that are running this type of service, which gives us an opportunity to keep them afloat during a difficult time.

The Chester brewery is doing takeout beer via curbside pickup and running weekend trips to surrounding counties for door-to-door drop off. Order ahead online.

Mac Mart is doing deliveries through Ritual, Caviar, Postmates, and Uber Eats. They’re also delivering to a bunch of the surrounding counties.
FWOT is doing pickup and free delivery.

The Pierogie Kitchen (648 Roxborough Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19128) has made several important updates to better serve customers during these extraordinary times.
COURIER SERVICE:
The Pierogie Kitchen is now offering a courier service that will serve customers within a 100-mile radius of its store (only PA, NJ, DE for now). Much like its Market Menu, Courier Service Menu items are fully cooked and flash frozen for quality and freshness. Preparation is quick and easy. Customers can just heat and serve.

LOCAL DELIVERY:
The Pierogie Kitchen is now offering local delivery of its TEMPORARY MARKET MENU (frozen, serve at home, baked goods), its TEMPORARY LUNCH/DINNER MENU, and its TEMPORARY FAMILY STYLE MENU to customers who live in Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, Lafayette Hill, Conshohocken, Bryn Mawr, and Gladwyne.
***The Pierogie Kitchen is also continuing to partner with its delivery partners, GrubHub and TryCaviar, as well for the delivery of lunch and dinner items.

All orders will include curbside pickup.

A running specialty retailer in the city with online inventory still available. They offer virtual shoe fittings and ship directly to area runners.
