Small, fast, and injury prone with big play ability. Sounds like the perfect fit for the Eagles:

They got him for absolutely nothing.

Goodwin has only played 16 games once in his seven-year NFL career. That was in 2017, when he put up 962 yards on 56 receptions, scoring two touchdowns. He was targeted 105 times.

Last year, he only played nine games, catching 12 passes for 186 yards and a score. He ended up on IR with knee and ankle issues, and previously dealt with broken ribs and a hamstring problem. It’s laundry list of items on his injury history.


But it’s a low risk, high reward type of move. San Francisco gave him away for free. If he can stay healthy, and DeSean Jackson can also stay healthy, then you’re looking monolithic upgrades in the speed department for 2020.
