You’ve probably heard about the Rittenhouse Square spitter.

As the story goes, a woman was waiting in line to get into Di Bruno Bros when another woman came a bit too close. Some words were exchanged, then the second woman allegedly yelled “bitch, I don’t have the virus” before pulling down her mask to spit on the victim.

This surveillance photo made the rounds on Twitter:

And  police arrested her a short time later. Steve Keeley from FOX 29 says her neighbors ratted her out:

Apparently McBride has a history. She reportedly also spat on an employee at the same Di Bruno Bros location on Saturday. Victor Fiorillo at Philly Mag also went through old court records:

This isn’t McBride’s first encounter with the law. According to court records, McBride was arrested by Philadelphia police on April 8th and charged with theft and receiving stolen property. In 2014, she pleaded guilty to retail theft in Susquehanna County.

McBride could not be reached for comment, and there’s no attorney assigned to her in the Di Bruno Bros. case, according to court records.

Right now if I had to give you my Mount Rushmore of (alleged) COVID-19 crazies, I’d go with Jacqueline McBride, the Luzerne County woman who coughed on $35,000 of food, the Delaware woman who screamed at store customers that she had the virus, and the guy who lied about having COVID and got arrested.
