NHL Training Camps Will Begin on July 10th
Let’s get it back to hockey.
Anthony and Russ have been talking about this on Snow the Goalie, and today the NHL officially revealed that formal training camp will begin on July 10th:

This would seem to put us in line for a late July/early August return to play.
As it stands the various Philadelphia sports teams are returning on a calendar that looks like this, in chronological order:
- Union – Orlando tournament begins July 8th
- Sixers – Orlando return to play on July 31st
- Flyers – looking like late July/early August
- Eagles – on track for training camp and normal season schedule
- Phillies – who the hell knows
MLB and the players are too busy shooting themselves in the foot to progress further, but that’s what the schedule looks like right now.
