Phillies Employees Reportedly Taking Pay Cuts

Multiple sources say Phillies employees were informed today that team will make pay cuts, effective today. Those earning over $90,000 per year will have graduated percentage cuts. Team already promised not to cut jobs or benefits through October.

Bummer about the pay cuts, but I’m not surprised, as Nate Diaz once said. We are, after all, sitting here in June with no baseball as billionaires and millionaires continue to argue over a suitable return to play.
Nice job keeping everybody employed though. Other organizations are doing the furlough and layoff routine, but the Phillies have not gone down that road.
