We Might Get a Shortened NFL Preseason

Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

NFL news:

Makes sense. You could possibly cut two games off the front end of the schedule and give teams an extra two weeks to get in shape to make up for lost time during COVID-19.

Here’s the Eagles’ preseason schedule, for some context:

  • 8/13 – at Colts
  • 8/20 – at Dolphins
  • 8/27 – vs Patriots
  • 9/3 – vs Jets

Perhaps you just axe the Indy and Miami games, turn the Pats or Jets game into a road trip, and do a two-week warm up before jumping into the season opener on September 13th against the Redskins.

Maybe we make this permanent? Would work for me.

  1. Kiss my ass Jeff Lurie, Malcolm Jenkins, Malik Jackson, Colin Kaepernick, and the rest of the National Felon League.
