Having no sports through late Spring/early Summer was rough. We can all acknowledge that. The flip-side of the argument was exactly what’s about to happen as the NBA, NHL, and NBA join the likes of UFC, MLS, and the PGA Tour. It’s bound to be a sports fan’s paradise as NBC Sports Philadelphia has announced that they will carry 70 games over 66 days from July 24-August 27.

From NBC Sports Philadelphia:

Starting with the Phillies Opening Day on Friday, July 24, NBC Sports Philadelphia will air 70 games in 66 days, including 56 Phillies games, eight Sixers games and two Flyers games. Schedules for the 2020 NBA Playoffs and 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs will be released at a later date.

As for pregame and postgame coverage, things are going to look a little bit different, though not as different as the production end of calling games, which Bob broke down earlier this evening.
