Tonight’s Yankees-Phillies game is postponed, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

Multiple reports have since confirmed the decision.

After 14 Marlins players and coaches reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 in recent days, Miami’s home opener against Baltimore previously scheduled for tonight was postponed earlier this morning.

Now, with concerns over the Phillies’ possible exposure, along with the safety of Yankees players and personnel that would have inhabited the same clubhouse and dugout areas occupied by the Marlins less than 24 hours ago, baseball has also decided to postpone tonight’s game in Philadelphia.

Earlier, Matt Gelb reported that the Phillies are quarantining their visiting clubhouse staff.

Presumably, the Phils are now awaiting test results to determine if there was a cross-clubhouse transmission.

What a mess.
