After Monday’s Miami Marlins debacle, which resulted in the postponement of two MLB games, the Phillies and Yankees remain in abeyance with another suspension tonight, according to Joel Sheman and Jon Heyman:

This doesn’t necessarily mean that a Phillies player or staff member tested positive for COVID after getting swabbed in the stadium parking lot. The tests were reportedly processed at Rutgers and would take about a day to turn around, so perhaps tonight’s postponement was done as a precautionary measure instead.

Sherman is also reporting the following:

“Heard the early results are that no #Phillies players have so far tested positive.”

Keep an eye on confirmation for that, because it would be huge.

As for the Marlins, Ken Rosenthal says there are four more COVID positives:

The Fish remain quarantined in a Philadelphia hotel. Phillies staffers who worked in the visiting clubhouse this weekend have also been quarantined.
