Philadelphia Will Not Allow Tailgating at Lincoln Financial Field This Year

Unfortunately, Eagles fans will not be allowed to congregate outside Lincoln Financial Field this season.
We thought we might be able to give the Birds some support, even though the stadium will be empty, by pushing up against the gates and booing the opposing team from afar, but Dave has been listening to every briefing from the city and apparently there will be no tailgating this season:
Will #Eagles #Phillies & #Temple fans be able to Tailgate since they can not be in the stadium

Sigh of relief from the F Lot Crew, who disbanded last year after throwing down with Mike Scott. If they were questioning their decision to give up their tailgating days forever, well, then, COVID was gonna force their hand anyway.
Maybe, perhaps, we can send some small groups of people to stand outside the gates like the Phandemic Krew, and throw batteries and snowballs from distance. The jury is still out on that. No tailgating is one thing, but will security boot individuals who wander around the stadium complex? We’ll send Russ down there on September 20th to find out.
(On a serious note, I don’t think the owners of private lots can be told what to do. The city can come in and enforce social distancing and mask guidelines, but otherwise I’m not sure what the violation would be for safely congregating.)
