The Eagles season begins today with 60% of the offensive line not even available due to injury.

Lane Johnson, who was questionable, will be inactive for the opener in Washington:

Alright JP Finlay, let’s not go overboard here. The Eagles still have THE BODYGUARD in Jason Peters, plus Jason Kelce, Isaac Seumalo, and… a couple of backups in there.

According to Eagles reporters, rookie Jack Driscoll will start at right tackle, with Nate Herbig at right guard. I have no idea what’s going on with Matt Pryor and why he is not being inserted at either one of those spots. Maybe that was a mistake or error, because it’s seems absolutely crazy that Pryor wouldn’t be starting with both the right guard and right tackle out.

Anyway, tough matchup for these guys, with Chase Young, Ryan Kerrigan, and Montez Sweat coming off the edge.

Miles Sanders is also out, leaving the Birds with the following inactives:

Lovely.

Let’s GO BIRDS.
