Safety Will Parks is Out "Multiple Weeks" With Lower Body Injury
It’s beyond ridiculous at this point.
Another Eagles player is going to miss a good chunk of playing time via injury. It’s newcomer Will Parks:
#Eagles updated their injury list:
Avonte Maddox (lower body) – day to day.
Will Parks (lower body) – multiple weeks.
Hassan Ridgeway (lower body) – day to day.
Parks had been playing in the dime position on defense.

If you’re keeping track, the Eagles already lost their starting right guard and starting left tackle for the season. The starting quarterback is currently not practicing and Jason Peters reportedly wants more money. Javon Hargrave and Jalen Reagor are currently on the shelf, along with Genard Avery and Derek Barnett and Alshon Jeffery. Miles Sanders, we’re told, should be ready for the opener, but he’s not 100% either.
It’s a continuation of last season, when the Eagles found themselves behind the eight ball right from the start, only this time we’re doing it without the benefit of preseason reps, so it’s not like we have any idea what we’re gonna get from JJAW or surgically-repaired DeSean Jackson or the backups who need to fill key roles in week one.
It’s so aggravating.
Update –
#Eagles DB Will Parks suffered a hamstring injury per source. Original timetable is 4-6 weeks, but knowing Parks past with injuries, I would assume there’s a good chance it will be shorter than that.

Hamstring is no bueno. You feel like you’re ready to go, then get out there and take your first sprint and the hammy goes again. Gotta be careful with these.
