Joe Judge Wants His Family and Friends, Who are Eagles Fans, to Wear Giants Colors to Tonight's Game
Is Joe Judge a Philly guy?
He grew up in Doylestown but went to St. Joe’s Prep before transferring to Lansdale Catholic, so he’s mostly a Buxmont type of dude. Philly suburbs, but firmly planted in Eagles territory.
Judge has some family and friends coming to the game tonight, and he doesn’t want them wearing Eagles colors at the Linc, as explained by Mike Garafolo:
From @gmfb on #Giants coach Joe Judge, a Landsdale, Pa. native, returning home tonight and why his family and friends will be wearing blue after a few years ago they donned #Eagles green to his dismay. pic.twitter.com/x54a48NSVI

If Joe Judge’s family and friends know what’s good for them, they’ll show up wearing Eagle green, or rip their Giants gear off to reveal their true colors, both literally and figuratively. You don’t go against your lifelong team just because some family member ends up coaching the New York Giants. And Judge’s parents are from Mayfair and Tacony, so you’d never see a true Eagles fan from the Great Northeast pull for a division rival. That would be sacrilegious.
Joe Judge is NOT a Philly guy.
(Garafolo pointed out on Twitter that he is disappointed with himself for the “Landsdale” typo, but that’s fine, it happens)
