Sixers Add Another to Coaching Staff
The Sixers added Brian Adams to their coaching staff, according to Woj:
Clippers G League coach Brian Adams is joining Doc Rivers’ staff with the Philadelphia 76ers, sources tell ESPN. Adams had been Agua Caliente’s head coach for a season after working as a coaching associate under Rivers with the Clippers and Celtics.

Great hire. I loved his hit single, “Summer of 69.”
…
Yeah, I know the first names are spelled differently, but just roll with the joke. We’re having fun on a Friday afternoon.
Anyway, Adams was a video coordinator when the Celtics won it all with Doc Rivers in 2008. He was also a video scouting director when Rivers was with the Clippers. His role on the Sixers staff is not specified, but the assistant jobs are filled by Dave Joerger, Dan Burke, and Sam Cassell, and teams don’t normally carry more “assistants” than three, so he could be here as a developmental coach or something along those lines. We’ll see.
