Couple of roster moves coming after the NBA draft, and preceding the free agency window, which opens today at 6 p.m.

Keith Pompey reported Thursday that Norvel Pelle was waived by the Sixers, which he seems to confirm right here:

And then today Kyle over at Voice reported the following:

Shayok is reportedly making way for:

As it stands, the Sixers’ player pool looks something like this:

  1. Joel Embiid
  2. Ben Simmons
  3. Tobias Harris
  4. Seth Curry
  5. Danny Green
  6. Terrance Ferguson
  7. Matisse Thybulle
  8. Shake Milton
  9. Furkan Korkmaz
  10. Zhaire Smith
  11. Mike Scott
  12. Tyrese Maxey
  13. Isaiah Joe
  14. Paul Reed
  15. Dakota Mathias (TW), according to Derek

They have Alec Burks, Glenn Robinson III, Kyle O’Quinn, and Raul Neto all hitting free agency.

So they need a backup big, for sure. Depth behind Joel Embiid is nonexistent. They could try bringing back Nerlens Noel or signing Alex Len. Should be a fun period, beginning in a few hours.
