TMZ posted a video Wednesday morning that shows us previously unseen footage from the South Dakota bar fight involving Dallas Goedert.

You may recall the incident took place over the summer, with surveillance video showing a guy named Kyle Hadala sucker punching the Eagles tight end in the jaw. Hadala was later arrested and charged with simple assault.

Hadala spoke with TMZ back then, and claims Goedert and friends were harassing his group at a previous bar, which then spilled over into a second bar, where the altercation took place.

Here’s the new video:

Hmm, looks like Goedert was down for a while. We didn’t get to see what happened after the punch in the original video clip, so this gives us an extended version showing both the build-up and aftermath.

TMZ says they have “Goedert sources” who claim Dallas was trying to play peacemaker before the punch was thrown.

More from the TMZ writeup:

That might very well be true. We don’t have audio in the clip, so we don’t know. Regardless, the video very clearly shows no violent conduct from Goedert. We don’t see if anything took place in the off-camera portion of the footage, but at the beginning, he touches the guy, yes. He has his hand on him and could be described as being “up in his face,” but there’s nothing that would constitute overt physicality. The escalation comes when he’s punched in the face while not looking.
