Remember a few weeks ago, when Wawa opened a drive-through at a South Jersey store?

It was a big deal in our region, though Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman poo-poo’d the news, because the guy loves Sheetz and can’t stop talking about Sheetz. He’s kind of like Russ Joy. Whenever somebody says the word “Wawa,” these guys are totally triggered and have to come crawling out of the woodwork to explain why they think our place sucks and their place rules.

Anyway, Wawa today is opening a Bucks County location that only features a drive-through.

Details from NBC 10, via Laura Smythe at the Philadelphia Business Journal:

Wawa is taking to Bucks County on Friday to open the first standalone drive-thru-only convenience store in its footprint that includes more than 900 locations, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports.

The 1,800-square-foot store at 549 W. Trenton Ave. in Morrisville will boast a single-lane drive-thru that has a capacity for 12 cars at a time. The location will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will employ about 30 people.

Yeah, why the hell not? The more Wawa, the better. It can be drive-through only, walk-in only, or walk-in AND drive-through. It doesn’t really matter.

Speaking of Fetterman, he announced today that he’s running for Senate in 2022. I will consider voting for him, on the condition that he stops talking about Sheetz. If Fetterman wants to win hearts and minds in the Delaware Valley, and earn his spot in the United States Senate, he must apologize for his Wawa slander and forever denounce Sheetz.

These are the terms.
