Eagles Find Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce Staley’s Replacement

Reportedly it’s Jemal Singleton:
BREAKING:
UK RB Coach Jemal Singleton is leaving Kentucky to go to the Philadelphia Eagles where he has been named RB Coach and Assistant Head Coach
— Matt Jones (@KySportsRadio) February 8, 2021
Singleton was hired by Kentucky only a few weeks ago. If the NFL comes calling, then I guess you’ve gotta change your mind and make the jump.
He’s got a good track record, having been a running backs coach with the Colts, Raiders, and Bengals. Previously, he had the same job with Arkansas, Oklahoma State, and Air Force. Not sure how far back your college football knowledge goes, but he actually played at Air Force in the mid 1990s and comes from a military family. His dad was an Air Force Sergeant and Singleton was born on a U.S. air base in Turkey.
Experienced coach right here. Singleton has coached Joe Mixon, Marlon Mack, Gio Bernard, Frank Gore, Alex Collins, and Marshawn Lynch. Let’s see what he can do with this group.
Kevin has been writing about Philadelphia sports since 2009. He spent seven years in the CBS 3 sports department and started with the Union during the team's 2010 inaugural season. He went to the academic powerhouses of Boyertown High School and West Virginia University. email - k.kinkead@sportradar.com
