Jay Wright is a Basketball Hall of Fame Finalist
Let’s get another Villanova post on the site. The Maestro says we have to do more Wildcats stories to balance out all of the Drexel love we showed yesterday.

That’s a pretty damn good list.
RE: Wright, he’s gonna get in at some point. He’s got two national titles and more than 600 career wins. And Villanova was excellent even before the Big East realignment. Wright took the Wildcats to a Final Four, Elite Eight, and two Sweet 16s while going seven straight years with 20+ wins in a conference that used to include UConn, Syracuse, Pitt, Louisville, WVU, Cincy, and other damn good squads. That’s not to say the Big East isn’t any good now, because it is, but the conference setup of 10-15 years ago was murderer’s row. Awesome basketball.
The 2021 class will be announced on May 16th. Then they’ll do the induction in Springfield in September.
