With Carson Wentz headed to Indy, the next domino to fall should be Zach Ertz.

We know that he’s on the outs with the Birds, and it’s a “when, not if” type of situation, though it seems like we’re getting close to the finish line here.

On Monday, Mike Silver reported the following:

Alright that’s good news. In previous weeks, Ertz had been linked to the Seahawks, Colts, and both Los Angeles teams.

Which brings us to this:

Now that’s interesting! Hunter Henry is only 26 years old, and coming off a season in which he caught a career-high 60 passes for 613 yards and four touchdowns. He did well with rookie Justin Herbert and was third on the team in receiving yards, behind only Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Tagging Henry would have come with a $12.7 million cap hit, and now he’s going to be a free agent instead.

LA could be high on 23 year old Donald Parham, or maybe they feel like Henry just wasn’t worth the money they’d have to pay him. Maybe they like Ertz and/or have concern over Henry’s ACL tear from two years ago. Who knows? Henry might end up in Jacksonville as a weapon for Trevor Lawrence to work with. The concern with Ertz is whether the Eagles can get anything significant in return for a guy earning a good amount of money and coming off a down year.

We’re looking for little tidbits here. Little niblets of information. It appears as though the Ertz move is going to happen sooner rather than later. If we tweet about it enough, it will take place.
