Okay, quirky situation here.

As you know, the Sixers play the Nets at home Wednesday night in a battle for first place in the Eastern Conference. Huge game. Biggest game of the season.

The Nets will now be playing that game as part of a road back-to-back:

What happened is that the Nets were supposed to play the Wolves on Monday night, but after the police shooting that resulted in the death of Daunte Wright, the game was postponed, as were games originally set to be played by the Wild and Twins.

Brooklyn originally was supposed to play the Lakers Saturday at home, Minnesota on the road Monday, and the Sixers on the road Wednesday. But because of the shooting the ensuing postponement, they got stuck with two days off to precede a road back-to-back, whereas the Sixers have Tuesday off.

Advantage Philadelphia. This is the third and final game between the teams, with the season series tied at 1-1, and winning this third game could have huge ramifications for playoff seeding.
